With the new year has come the implementation of many changes at IRCC. In December IRCC announced changes to the Spousal Sponsorship program that would reduce current and future processing times to 12 months! This is welcome news for any Canadian or PR who has been frustrated by the lengthy delays in ensuring their loved one can stay with them permanently in Canada.
